I.             Introduction

      Creativity is viewed in different ways and in different disciplines. Creative product in different domain is measured against the norms of the domain with this own rules, approaches and conceptions of creativity. Creative teaching could be said to consist of setting up learning environment that encourages students to see the essence as well as the details of the subject, formulate and solve problem, to see correctness between diverse areas to take in and react to new ideas and to include the element of surprise in their work.

II.           Summary

     Teachers should know the background or basic knowledge of the students which is related to their lesson it is important to know the knowledge of the students to teachers to know what they should teach or how they teach the lesson which is appropriate with the level of the knowledge of the students, teachers can discuss the content of the lesson, they can ask question for clarification. There are flexible strategies, through effective and flexible strategies students can help to understand reason memorize and solve problems.

III.         Reaction

     Creative teacher’s responsibility is to review the results of the lesson, as they assess the results they should think other way the lesson could have been taught. Creative teachers make mistakes, but they also search for ways to overcome mistakes. Each time they try something, they review outcomes and try to imagine ways to make improvements. Nobody can teach to correctly for every student in a class and certainly teacher should not be held responsible for an unmotivated or mentally challenge student.

I.             Introduction

      A public school teacher named Brilin Joy Adalin at Tacurong Pilot Elementary School (TPES) in sultan Kudarat. She uses innovative and unconventional strategies to make learning effective for her class of slow learners. She is among this year’s honourees of BatoBalani Foundation’s Mary Faces of Teacher Award.

      Teacher Joy consistently worked wonders for her class of slow learners despite the lack of teaching materials and their difficulties in reading, writing and comprehension. For more 10 years, she has been effective handling  this last section in High School and has not been transferred to any other place.

II.           Summary

     Teacher Joy employs the strategy of peer mentoring, pairing a slow learner with a good student. She even conducts remedial classes for her student after class. When some fail to show up, she would go to their houses to find out what went wrong and encourage them to come to class again and not waste the opportunity to study.

      Because of her efforts, her students make significant project in just a span of four months. From little or no skills at all in reading and writing, they even move up to the top section in the following years.

      Teacher Joy’s innovations and teaching styles have been cited many times, enabling her to garner numerous outstanding awards in the regional level. This first national award has made her even more passionate and dedicated in her profession.

III.         Reaction

  Providing a safe and secure learning environment has always been the better way to have more knowledge of the students if we talk about education. As a teacher we should be a knowledgeable more than with our students that when they ask a question, we could teach them a right answer. So as future teacher we must give them the right way on how they make the things possible about education.

Reflection for Professional Readings and Reference

         

Different news, different articles, and different knowledge we could know about the things around us. Not just on politics but on the education that gives us the way we comprehend what the things we should know. It helps us to understand those certain topic. That sometimes could serve as a question, so through readings those news and articles, they could help us to give the answer to the things that would gave us confusion to answer.

          I’ve learned that many things like how can we disciplined, creativity in teaching, that we all know as an important part to gained to interest of the students,  and lastly the students on the normal world to cope with the things around them.

          I’ve learned that many things like how to make impossible to succeed the simply teach the student haven’t they can’t afford like a normal study in school. That’s why teacher Joy was sacrifice to teach the student in Sultan Kudarat.
